Everyone keeping up with these? Good. For those not in the know, go here: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/board.html?forumId=78416&sid=1 and amongst the stickies towards the top is a thread for big previews of each class. All except Mage (midnight, PST) and Paladin (April 16) are up. Blizzard is detailing the new spells for each class, talent and ability shifts, as well as major changes (such as Warlocks' soul shard system revamp and the switch of Hunters from mana to focus as a resource).

So far, I like what is going on with Shamans and Priests. Aside from that, seems like a heavy focus on PvP and giving a multi-element spell to every ranged spec that doesn't have it. I'll reserve judgment for when Paladins hit; a week later, no less, supposedly because it's "still deep in development". Don't know what to think of that...

Soooooooo.........................thoughts?

Shaman preview is awesome.

Hunter.....meh. Soooo BM was about spamming steady shot before....now it'll be about spamming cobra shot? Okay? Trap launcher....meh just another button to push. Camoflauge is so so. I can see opening with it in pve on a boss fight or something but other than that it seems more pvp oriented.

I do however love the pet and ammo changes. That will be nice.

I'm not impressed with the warlock preview at all. It's all PVP shit and I couldn't care less about it.

Well, it looks like they are trying to make Demonology cooler and more attractive, might even get to raid with it. I also like the Dark Intent shared buff thing, you can just go ahead and keep that on me when we's raidin', k?

P.S. I've been raiding as demonology for 4 months now.

Yeah, dark intent is pretty nice. You can be my dark intent buddy! :D

I don't think it'll help you Glee.

Dark Intent (level 83): Increases the target's chance for a critical effect with periodic damage or healing spells by 3%. When the target lands a crit, you get a buff to your damage for 10 seconds. This effect stacks up to three times.

I'm thinking this is just for periodic effects. That is to say, I read it as "periodic (damage or healing) spells" not "(periodic damage) or healing spells".

So good targets would be other Warlocks (much like Mages circle FM currently) or a Resto druid.

I was going to argue that Focus Magic is limited to Direct Damage spells (and thus would compliment this), but the wording doesn't restrict it explicitly. So I'm really only going on my gut here.

EDIT: And the first thing I thought of was that Tannist is already raiding as Demo, "sacrificing" his personal DPS for a better SP buff than I can give and allowing me to use Damaging Fire Totems.
